Skein, which launched in June 1999, has been the No. 1 kids show for 11 consecutive quarters. Episodes collect almost 60 million total viewers each month, including 23.4 million kids 2-11 and 27.1 million adults over 18.
New episodes premiere next year.
"SpongeBob is the most successful property in our 25-year history," Nick prexy Cyma Zarghami said. "Maybe he'll finally get his driver's license."
Cast includes voice talent Tom Kenny, Bill Fagerbakke, Rodger Bumpass, Clancy Brown and Carolyn Lawrence.
"SpongeBob" is produced by Nicktoons and United Plankton Pictures. Series creator Stephen Hillenburg exec produces.
"The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie" bows Nov. 19.
