TORONTO -- Producers Anthony Bregman and Paul Brett will be among speakers at the Strategic Partners three-day co-production conference, starting today.

Vet producer-director Ivan Reitman will be honored at the confab, part of the 24th Atlantic Film Festival in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Bregman ("Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind"), co-founder of This Is That Corp. of New York, will discuss "The Business of Passion and the Art of Compromise."

Brett is a Miramax and Pathe vet who set up London-based Prescience Film Finance and now operates the Foresight Film Fund. His slate includes Terry Gilliam's "Tideland." His speech will be on "Offensive Marketing."

The U.S., the U.K. and Ireland are for the second year the focus of the Strategic Partners co-production confab.
