'Dinner' sets solo place for Scorsese
Cabler serves up 13 new eps for 2005

Cabler has ordered 13 new episodes that are scheduled to premiere on the channel in first quarter 2005.
Created and hosted by Jon Favreau, skein features roundtable discussion with film, TV, music and comedy insiders on a variety of topics.
Favreau said he has already shot several segs with such guests as "Deadwood" star Timothy Olyphant and creator David Milch and "Friday Night Lights" team Peter Berg and Billy Bob Thornton.
"On our show, you get to spend an evening with these guys. It's really for people who want to see a different side of celebrities, not the stuff that is spoon-fed," Favreau said.
" 'Dinner for Five' was an immediate hit with our viewers because its unique format lets them eavesdrop on what could easily be a dinner gathering of entertainment industry notables at any restaurant," IFC VP of original programming Alison Palmer Bourke said.
Breaking with series tradition, the Scorsese special will begin the fourth cycle of "Dinner for Five" with just Favreau and the director in an intimate one-on-one conversation and no dinner.
"He'd always been my dream guest," Favreau said.
Series launched on IFC in April 2002.
