Less than a year after parking their production shingle at Disney, marketing vets and NRG co-founders Joe Farrell and Catherine Paura have set up a third feature, this time at MGM.
The Lion has acquired Bob Hilgenberg and Rob Muir's comedy "Infantile" for Farrell Paura Prods. to produce.
Laffer revolves around an uptight management consultant who never had or desired a real childhood until he takes his 5-year-old nephew to kindergarten one day, turning his adult life upside down.
Scribes Hilgenberg and Muir are already penning MGM's redo of the 1968 comedy "Yours, Mine & Ours," which starred Lucille Ball. They also wrote the original draft to the remake of "Father Knows Best," for Nickelodeon Films and Paramount.
MGM's Elizabeth Ingold and Erik Baiers will shepherd "Infantile" at the studio. Farrell Paura's Josie Rosen will oversee the project for the company.
Farrell and Paura opened the doors to their shingle at Disney in January 2003.
Since then, they have set up two Disney pics: "Rescued!," a teen comedy by Jack Angelo and Sam Brown, and romantic comedy "Lust for Life," by Jillian Tohber.
