It's Showtime for Isaacs

'Harry Potter' baddie offers talents to cable network

Jason Isaacs ("Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets") has been tapped to star in Showtime's untitled Blake Masters drama pilot.

Written and exec produced by Masters, drama follows the lives of two brothers in Providence, R.I.

Phillip Noyce is on board to direct the pilot episode.

Isaacs will play Michael Cassey, brutal gangster and brother of a tough-minded politician played by Jason Clarke ("Rabbit-Proof Fence").

Annabeth Gish ("The X-Files") stars as the wife of Clarke's character.

Elizabeth Stephen is exec producing with Masters.

Shooting begins end of the month in Toronto and Rhode Island.

Isaacs was most recently seen in the role of Captain Hook in the live-action feature "Peter Pan." Thesp is shooting "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire."
