Hughes to provide news, features on Olympics in Athens

WCBS-TV New York has signed Sarah Hughes, the 2002 Olympic gold medallist in women's figure skating, to cover the 2004 Summer Games from Athens.

Hughes starts her pre-Olympics reports later this week and will travel to Athens to provide news and features throughout the '04 Games.

WCBS will share Hughes' coverage with the 20 CBS-owned TV stations around the country. Hughes, a Long Island native, returns to Yale U. in the fall for her sophomore year.
