Jon Polito ("The Singing Detective," "Barton Fink") has signed up for two features: New Line's "Grilled" and "The Alibi."

"Grilled," starring Ray Romano, Kevin James, Burt Reynolds and, Juliette Lewis, is lensing in Los Angeles. Pic marks the feature directing debut of Jason Ensler.

"Alibi's" cast includes Steve Coogan, Rebecca Romijn, Selma Blair, John Leguizamo, James Marsden and James Brolin. The Summit Entertainment/Endgame Entertainment pic also is filming in Hollywood
