Written by Ronnie Christensen, "Smoke" is the story of a physically abused dancer who flees her home for an apartment complex where she has premonitions of a tragic fire.
Producing are Gold Circle's Paul Brooks, Vertigo's Roy Lee and Doug Davison and Bedlam's Lauren Lloyd.
Exec producers are Gold Circle's Norm Waitt and Scott Niemeyer. Zak Kadison brought the project into the company and will shepherd its development.
Christensen co-wrote the earthquake miniseries "10.5," which NBC broadcast in May.
