Dan Cracchiolo

Producer

Dan Cracchiolo, a producer on actioners including "The Matrix" and "Conspiracy Theory," died June 14 after a motorcycle accident in Los Angeles. He was 39.

L.A. native attended San Diego State U. and began his film career as an assistant to agent Ed Limato.

From there Cracchiolo was promoted to agent, and soon went to work for Joel Silver. He was Silver's assistant on the "Tales From the Crypt" TV skein, and on pics "Lethal Weapon 3" and "Richie Rich."

He received associate producer credit on "Demon Knight" in 1995 and thereafter was listed as either co-producer or executive producer on many actioners including "Assassins," "Conspiracy Theory," "Lethal Weapon 4," "Romeo Must Die" and "The Matrix."

He is survived by his parents, his stepmother, a sister and a brother. Donations may be made to the Betty Ford Center, 39000 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270.
