Blues man pumped to prexy amid shuffle

Kaczorowski, Berle upped

Joe Kaczorowski has been promoted to president of the House of Blues to oversee its expansion strategy. He will continue to head the legal, finance, human resources and technology departments.

He has been the company's chief financial officer since 1996.

In addition, Dolf Berle has been named chief operating officer of HOB Entertainment. He will add amphitheater operations to his current club responsibilities.

Alex Hodges will continue to lead talent buying, with Kevin Morrow directing the touring business and club-level buying.

House of Blues recently entered into several booking alliances, including with Sunset Station in San Antonio, Texas; the Trocadero in Philadelphia; and Paramount Parks Amphitheaters.

"These changes reflect our focus on growth and maximizing our performance in developing markets. Fans, performing artists and House of Blues all benefit by the coordination of our concert activities across all size venues in a given market," said House of Blues CEO Greg Trojan.
