The ensemble cast also includes Eric McCormack, Elizabeth Banks, Tony Goldwyn, Alessandro Nivola, Chris O'Donnell and Rip Torn.
Arthur Allen Seidelman is directing from Richard Alfieri's script, based on his Chekov-inspired play of the same name.
"The Sisters" is the tale of siblings who live in a college town and struggle to banish the ghost of their dead father and reconcile their own relationships.
Equity financing comes from Carolyn Chambers, who produces the film with Matthew Rhodes and Judd Payne of Persistent Entertainment. Jerry Pierce is in charge of production.
Chambers co-founded Liberty Communications (now Liberty Media) and Chambers Cable. She owns a three-station TV group in Oregon, as well as companies that produce national and regional sports and television programming.
Persistent has several films in post, including "An Unfinished Life" and "A Different Loyalty."
