HOLLYWOOD -- Michael Clarke Duncan, Shohreh Aghdashloo and Ben Gazzara will be honored at the ninth annual Palm Beach Film Festival next week. There will also be a special tribute to the late Rod Steiger.
Event, running April 15-22, will unveil 15 world and three U.S. premieres. The festival, which became competitive last year, has planned a diverse selection of films, documentaries and shorts.
The week kicks off with Universal Pictures laffer "Connie and Carla," starring Nia Vardalos and Toni Collette. Closing night feature is "A Slipping Down Life," the directorial debut of Toni Kalem.
