Island Def Jam Records and Electronic Arts are teaming up for a sequel to last year's Def Jam Vendetta game and bringing along 35 hip-hop artists as characters, including Busta Rhymes, Lil' Kim, Method Man, and Snoop Dogg.
As yet untitled sequel is a follow-up to last year's moderately succesful fighting game, which sold about one million units.
New game significantly ups the stakes, bringing the number of characters based on hip-hop artists from 12 to 35 and adding more advanced story elements to the core fighting action.
Game, which is set for release in the Fall, will feature the voice and likeness of all 35 hip-hop artists and will also have a soundtrack with about 30 songs, including a number of original tracks by artists featured in the game.
