'Will' fills Revolution bill

'Mona' producers to take on high school outcast pic

Revolution Studios has bought the spec script "Will" from first-time scribe Josh A. Cagan for partner Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas to produce.

Described as in the vein of the 1980 laffer "My Bodyguard," story concerns an outcast and how he finds his way among a high school's cliques and bullies.

Revolution East's Marisa Yeres brought the project into the studio.

Goldsmith-Thomas, who recently produced the Julia Roberts drama "Mona Lisa Smile," is producing Revolution's romantic comedy "Little Black Book," along with Deborah Schindler and Blue Star Pictures' William Sherak and Jason Shuman.
