The trio of "Fear Factor," "Las Vegas" and "Average Joe" again scored for NBC on Monday, as the Peacock swept all six half-hours among adults 18-49 in winning the night in key demo categories, according to preliminary nationals from Nielsen.
The premiere of "Average Joe: Adam Returns" (5.3/14 in adults 18-49, 10.6 million viewers overall) was up over the premiere of "Average Joe: Hawaii" and won its hour in 18-49 over a repeat of CBS drama "CSI: Miami" (5.0/13 in adults 18-49, 14.2 million viewers overall). NBC also scored with "Fear Factor" (6.4/18 in adults 18-49, 14.6 million viewers overall) and "Las Vegas" (5.7/14 in adults 18-49, 13.6 million viewers overall), the latter of which led its hour in 18-49 for the first time.
CBS was a solid second in 18-49 and eked out a victory in total viewers, paced by repeats of "CSI: Miami," "Everybody Loves Raymond" (5.0/13 in adults 18-49, 15.1 million viewers overall) and "Two and a Half Men" (4.9/12 in adults 18-49, 13.7 million viewers overall).
Fox's reality skein "Forever Eden" continued its ratings slide, placing a distant fourth from 9 to 10 (2.1/5 in adults 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall). In the preceding half-hour, the regular timeslot preem of "Cracking Up" (2.5/7 in adults 18-49, 5.0 million viewers overall) was a bit more competitive but still ran fourth.
ABC did better than usual on a Monday with a rebroadcast of three-hour theatrical "The Green Mile" (3.7/10 in adults 18-49, 11.1 million viewers overall).
Preliminary 18-49 averages for the night: NBC, 5.8/15; CBS, 4.4/12; ABC, 3.7/10; Fox, 2.4/6; WB, 1.3/3, tied with UPN, 1.3/3.
In total viewers: CBS, 13.0 million; NBC, 12.9 million; ABC, 11.1 million; Fox, 4.8 million; WB, 3.5 million; UPN, 3.1 million.
