RCA hits Blue note for A&R

Ex-Interscope exec assigned to bring in talent

HOLLYWOOD -- RCA Music Group has tapped Jeff Blue senior veep, A&R. He will be responsible for signing and developing artists at J Records and RCA Records.

Reporting directly to Clive Davis, chairman-CEO of BMG North America, Blue will be based in Los Angeles.

Blue was previously senior VP, A&R, at Interscope Records and prior to that, Warner Bros. Records, where he signed and developed Linkin Park. He had previously discovered and developed both Linkin Park and Macy Gray for Zomba Publishing, where he also secured deals for Korn and Limp Bizkit.
