NEW YORK -- "Take Back Your Mink" was an appropriate anthem for the crowded Sheraton New York coat check room Monday night, as high-society types headed home after a "Guys and Dolls" concert benefit that raised a million dollars for the Iris Cantor Women's Health Center.

""So many charities, so little time," mused young Broadway star Laura Benanti before her umpteenth benefit perf. Though she claimed to be constantly stressed out,she seemed anything but, with b.f. Chris Barron of the Spin Doctors on her arm.

Susan Lucci said she "couldn't say yes fast enough" to performing with Tony Bennett, the crowd favorite who sang "Luck Be a Lady."

Other performers included Marisa Tomei and Whoopi Goldberg, plus Broadway stalwarts Melissa Errico, Malcolm Gets, Tony Roberts, tenor Daniel Rodriguez and the 52-person Chancel Choir of the Abyssinian Baptist Church.

Guests supporting the center, a collaboration between NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Weill Cornell Medical College, included Caroline's Comedy Club prexy Caroline Hirschand NewYork-Presbyterian President and CEO Dr. Herbert Pardes.
