Crowther lands docu gig at RDF

Crowther will exec produce the next two series of RDF's hit show "Wife Swap," commissioned by Channel 4 for transmission this year. She will also jointly exec produce the U.S. version of "Wife Swap" for ABC Stateside along with RDF director of programs Stephen Lambert and U.S. producer Michael Davies.
Crowther produced the last edish of "Wife Swap," which pulled audiences of more than 6 million and won three awards.
She started as an assistant at Channel 4 in 1990. She joined Hart Ryan five years later and worked there for seven years before leaving two years ago to freelance. She was responsible for the highly acclaimed 1999 BBC2 series "Mersey Blues," which observed the workings of the Merseyside Police. She has made films for Channel 4's "Equinox," BBC2's "Modern Times," ITV1's "Real Life" and BBC1's "One Life."
