The largest amount, $770,000, was awarded to Imre Kertesz biopic "Fateless," a German-Hungarian-U.K. co-production. Some $640,000 and $512,000, respectively, were slated to two refugee dramas, Christian Wagner's "Die Vermissten" (The Missing) and Angelina Maccarone's "In Orbit."
The largest amount for a TV production went to the Teamworx history pic "Stauffenberg," directed by Jo Baier, which got $384,000.
MFG also granted support for distribution to international productions, including Sabiha Sumar's Locarno-awarded pic "Khamosh Pani" and Julian Schnabel's "Before Night Falls."
