All in Lifetime: Thesps ink for telepix

Delaney to star in 'Infidelity'; Holly to act, exec produce 'Tenn P.I.'

Kim Delaney and Lauren Holly have inked to topline a pair of original movies for Lifetime.

Delaney will star in the two-hour telepic "Infidelity." Lifetime greenlit the two-hour project, about a woman's battle with her own unfaithfulness, with Harry Winer ("Lucky 7") attached to direct and scribe Toni Kalem ("A Slipping Down Life") on board to write.

Lions Gate TV, which is currently producing drama pilot "The Coven" for the women's cabler, will produce in association with Cairo-Simpson Entertainment.

Production has commenced in New Orleans for an April premiere.

"Infidelity" explores the causes and consequences of adulterous behavior through the story of a married family therapist (Delaney) who traces her own philandering back to her father and grandfather.

"Through the years, Lifetime has sought out interesting and thought-provoking scripts as well as talented actors such as Marcia Gay Harden, Anne Heche and Diane Keaton who can bring them to life," Walton said. "We are thrilled to continue to add these accomplished players to the Lifetime family."

Exec producers for "Infidelity" are Judy Palone, Judy Cairo and Martha Coolidge.

Lifetime has also greenlit a project from Lauren Holly tentatively titled "Tenn P.I."

Holly last partnered with the cabler to develop the drama skein "Libby Montana" in 2002.

Holly will star and exec produce the pic, along with Frank Konigsberg, Drew Smith, Lance Hool and Rick Bieber. Cynthia Whitcomb penned the teleplay.

"Tenn P.I." revolves around a woman who gets into the business of private investigation after she suspects her boyfriend of wandering.

Production starts next month although no airdate has yet been set.

Emmy-winning Delaney has starred in the TV dramas "NYPD Blue," "Philly" and "CSI Miami." She also appeared in Brian De Palma's "Mission to Mars" opposite Gary Sinise and Tim Robbins.

Holly last starred in "Just Desserts" for the Hallmark Channel and lent her voice to the Oscar-winning feature "Spirited Away." She recently signed with Paradigm and is also repped by Nine Yards and attorney Fred Toczek.
