Kudo will be presented to Marshall at the 54th Annual ACE Eddie Awards gala Feb. 15 at the Beverly Hilton.
"We're thrilled to honor this gifted artisan for his contributions to the industry, his consistent excellence and craftsmanship and his ability to delight audiences in all entertainment mediums for the past four decades," said the ACE board of directors.
Marshall's feature directing credits include "The Princess Diaries," "Runaway Bride" and "Pretty Woman." He also directed the upcoming "Raising Helen" and "Princess Diaries II."
Marshall also developed 14 TV series and exec produced more than 1,000 half-hour episodes, including "Happy Days," "Laverne and Shirley," "The Odd Couple" and "Mork and Mindy."
He's previously received lifetime achievement kudos from the American Comedy Awards and the Producers Guild, the Valentine Davies Award from the WGA, and he's a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Hall of Fame.
