Inside Move: Les isn't more, Trump sez

Mogul angry CBS set 'CSI' against 'Apprentice'

New-found reality star Donald Trump lit into CBS chair-CEO Leslie Moonves on Wednesday, saying Moonves is the most "overrated person in television" and "a lightweight."

Or try this one: "If Les Moonves was a contestant on this show, he would have been fired by the third episode," Trump said.

Appearing at the winter Television Critics Assn. tour in L.A. to promote his new reality show on NBC, Trump was lit up over the fact that CBS has tried to one-up "The Apprentice" by putting "CSI" up against it.

"Don is always good for a few chuckles," CBS spokesman Chris Ender said.

Trump says Moonves is sore that Trump took the "Miss Universe" pageant to NBC after initially courting CBS.

Mark Burnett, creator and producer of "Apprentice," found himself in something of a delicate spot sitting next to Trump. The Eye is home to his hit reality franchise "Survivor."

"Apprentice," which bowed last week, scored impressive ratings in its debut for the Peacock. That probably explains why NBC Entertainment, News and Cable prexy Jeff Zucker was smiling in the back of the room during the presentation by Burnett and Trump.
