CBS, which easily led the night in total viewers, was paced as usual by "CSI: Miami" (7.0/18 in adults 18-49, 19.7 million viewers overall), the night's top-rated program. Net also won the 9 o'clock hour in most key measures behind "Everybody Loves Raymond" (6.3/15 in adults 18-49, 19.2 million viewers) and "Two and a Half Men" (6.2/15 in adults 18-49, 17.9 million).
NBC controlled the early part of the evening with an expanded 75-minute episode of "Fear Factor" that averaged roughly a 7.0/18 in adults 18-49 and 16 million viewers overall. Numbers are a bit more sketchy for the net's other shows, with "Las Vegas" (9:15-10:15 p.m.) checking in with roughly a 5.7/14 in the 18-49 demo and a 45-minute episode of "Average Joe: Hawaii" netting approximately a 4.4/11.
ABC, with a repeat of "Enemy of the State" (2.6/6 in adults 18-49, 7.8 million viewers) edged out Fox's repeat of "Happy Gilmore" (2.4/6 in adults 18-49, 5.4 million viewers) as the two nets fought for crumbs.
Preliminary 18-49 averages for the night: CBS, 5.8/15; NBC, 5.8/15; ABC, 2.6/6; Fox, 2.4/6' WB, 1.7/4; UPN, 1.7/4.
In total viewers: CBS, 16.9 million; NBC, 13.3 million; ABC, 7.8 million; Fox, 5.4 million; WB, 4.4 million; UPN, 3.5 million.
