Music performing rights org ASCAP has promoted Lynne Lummel to senior VP with responsibility for television, radio, ad and promo (among other departments) and Seth Saltzman to senior VP of member management.
Lummel, vice president of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers since June 2001, has been with the org since 1988 when she started as assistant director, human resources. Lummel will also oversee repertory, concert performance crediting, quality assurance and distribution systems support.
With ASCAP since 1984, Saltzman was most recently VP of member management. He is responsible for business affairs, estates and claims and member services. In addition, he will continue to play a role in the development of Prep, ASCAP's new royalty distribution and interactive member inquiry system.
"Lynne and Seth ... have taken hold of their area of responsibility and made it a center of innovation and efficiency," said ASCAP's chief operating officer Al Wallace.
Lummel and Saltzman will continue to report directly to Wallace.
Entering its 90th year, ASCAP has more than over 170,000 composer, lyricist and music publisher members.
