NEW YORK -- Road grosses held steady during Week 31 (Dec. 22-28), rising by a small 3% to $12,406,313.

"Hairspray" topped $1 million in the Windy City at the Oriental. "The Producers" was up a bit in its third week in Toronto, to $854,613.
