Thesp will play Sen. Linney in the series centered on a worldwide family-run ministry of televangelists. Norman Steinberg and Richard Christian Matheson are exec producing.
Also joining the "Paradise" cast is Rick Hoffman ("Philly"). Hoffman, who will play shock jock Clark Cavanaugh -- a recurring role -- this season reprises his role on "Bernie Mac" and is set for a role in the feature "Cellular," directed by David Ellis. He will next be seen in the Adam Goldberg-helmed pic "I Love Your Work."
Jones recently starred with Strathairn in Paramount's "The Blackout Murders." He will also appear in Michael Mann's upcoming feature "Collateral."
