'Before' pitch to be reborn

Shingle nabs 'Noise' scribe's script in six figure deal

Niall Johnson has sold "Before," his pitch for a supernatural thriller about reincarnation, to Mostow/Lieberman.

Deal, valued at mid-six figures, was made from the discretionary fund of the Universal-based banner; project will be developed further before being taken to the studio.

Johnson's first script to be produced is "White Noise" at Gold Circle Films. Pic, which stars Michael Keaton, follows a man contacted from beyond the grave by his murdered wife.

Mostow/Lieberman most recently produced "Terminator 3" and currently has "Around the World in 80 Days" in production.

Company exec Sarah Self was credited with bringing the pitch to the shingle.

Johnson is repped by Paradigm and managed by Zide/Perry.
