'Jumpers' set to jump to West End

Beale, Davis will continue to star in Stoppard legiter

Essie Davis and Simon Russell Beale star in the revival of Tom Stoppard's 'Jumpers,' which will move to London's West End this fall.

The National Theater's well-reviewed revival of Tom Stoppard's "Jumpers" will transfer to the West End this fall. Previews begin Nov. 14 at the Piccadilly Theater, with opening night set for Nov. 20. Sonia Friedman Prods. produces the limited run, scheduled to play through March 6.

Moving with the 1972 play from the National Theater will be stars Simon Russell Beale, as a moral philosopher, and Essie Davis as his wife, a former musical comedy star. Further casting is to be announced.

The revival is directed by David Leveaux, currently repped on Broadway by tuner "Nine." He's expected back on Broadway early next year to direct the revival of "Fiddler on the Roof."

Also transferring from the National are "Anything Goes!," starting Sept. 24 at the Theater Royal, Drury Lane, and "Jerry Springer -- The Opera," which begins perfs at the Cambridge Theater Oct. 14.
