Inside Move: Some clients to stay at Endeavor

Payne, Silberling, Abrams follow Rabineau, Lonner to WMA

Phone lines continue to overheat in the wake of Steve Rabineau and David Lonner ankling their Endeavor partnerships on Tuesday to become senior agents at William Morris Agency.

Although William Morris has now fattened its list with A-list names like Alexander Payne, Brad Silberling and J.J. Abrams, a number of high-profile clients have declared their intention to remain at Endeavor.

Among these are director John Woo and his producing partner Terence Chang, actor-writer-director Jon Favreau, Dustin Hoffman and director Frank Coraci ("Around the World in 80 Days").

However, the fat lady is only warming up: At press time Wednesday, more than three dozen Rabineau and Lonner clients remained in play.
