Arnold Lipsman

Publicist Arnold Lipsman, whose high-profile clients included George Burns, Sammy Davis Jr., Steve Lawrence & Eydie Gorme, Robin Williams and Billy Crystal, died Aug. 12 of natural causes in Los Angeles. He was 60.

He was a partner at PR firm Steinberg, Lipsman & Brokaw and became the praiser for TruVideo, a wireless media company based in Berkeley, Calif., in 1994. Lipsman then joined the PR department of Las Vegas' Mirage Hotel and Resort in 1995. He worked closely with owner Steve Wynn and Alan Feldman, who described Lipsman as an "old school professional." Lipsman's tenure at the Mirage was short due to the unexpected death of his father. He then moved back to Los Angeles to care for his mother.

Lipsman is survived by his mother, sister and brother.
