Alec B. Kamp

Alec B. Kamp, personal assistant to producers, directors, actors and others, was found dead Aug. 29 at his L.A. home. Authorities suspect he had been dead for eight days. Cause is unknown. He was 37.

Charleston, Ill., native was in the film industry for 15 years in Chicago and L.A. He worked with Warner Bros., U, Par, USA Networks and, most recently, the Disney Studios as an aide to Orlando Bloom on "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl."

He is survived by his father, two brothers, two sisters, a grandmother, aunt, nieces and others.
