PBS nabs 9/11 doc

Pubcaster to broadcast Brit-made show on tragedy's anni

LONDON -- Commemorating the anniversary of Sept. 11, PBS has picked up Brit doc "9/11: A Tale of Two Towers" from U.K.-based indie factual distribber Electric Sky for broadcast on Sept. 11.

The BAFTA-nominated doc, produced for U.K. commercial web Five by Brit producer Michael Attwell Prods., offers viewers a blow-by-blow account by those that survived the collapse of the World Trade Center.

Attwell, currently chairman of BAFTA, was formerly senior commissioning editor at Five and before that commissioning editor at Channel 4.
