Col, Wonderland throttle up 3 more years
Co. extends deal while McG looks for next project

In a statement, McG said, "(Col chairman) Amy Pascal was the one with the guts to take a chance on me in the first place. We're so grateful to have the opportunity grow as artists under her tutelage."
McG is still looking for a next project. He is back in talks to direct "Superman" for Warner Bros., which is crunching the numbers on reviving the superhero franchise.
Among the films he and his producing partner Stephanie Savage are developing for Col is "Hot Wheels," a toy car adaptation, for Mattel.
Savage said: "We're looking forward to getting really active in development. Our wheelhouse is always going to be these bigger action pictures, with an eye for McG to direct, but we're also interested in smaller, character-driven stories."
Col prexy Peter Schlessel said in a statement, "We have a great partnership with Wonderland, and we hope to be in business with McG and Stephanie for a long time."
Other projects in development at Wonderland are "Radiant," a mythical tale set in contemporary San Francisco, and actioner "Airshow," both set up at Col.
News of the pact extension comes on the heels of "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle," McG's second feature, which has grossed $247 million worldwide.
