Warners toons up Keenan

Exec in charge of developing TV and video projects

Warner Bros. Animation has upped Christopher Keenan to senior VP of creative affairs.

Keenan will be in charge of developing TV series, specials, shorts and video projects. He will also supervise production of current series, including "What's New Scooby Doo?" "Mucha Lucha" and "Static Shock," all of which air on sister division Kids' WB.

"Christopher has played an integral role in the development of many series through his 14-year tenure with Warner Bros. Animation," said org's prexy Sander Schwartz, to whom Keenan will continue to report.

Keenan joined Warner Bros. Animation in 1989 working in the production department. He held positions at ABC Children's Entertainment and Amblin Entertainment before rejoining Warner Bros. Animation as director of programming.

During his tenure, he developed more than 30 animated series and 15 feature-length videos, earning his VP stripes in 1999.
