Kathryn Hahn

Kathryn Hahn ("Crossing Jordan") has been added to the cast of DreamWorks' Will Ferrell vehicle "Anchor Man: The Legend of Ron Burgundy."

Christina Applegate, Vince Vaughn and Paul Rudd also star in the pic, penned by Ferrell with former "Saturday Night Live" head writer Adam McKay.

In the project, set in the 1970s, Ferrell portrays a pompous San Diegoanchor who is paired with an ambitious female colleague (Applegate).

McKay is at the helm of the project, which is being produced by Judd Apatow and exec produced by Shauna Weinberg and David O. Russell.

Hahn, who has been tapped to play a fellow newscaster, recently co-starred in the Kate Hudson starrer "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days." She will next be seen in DreamWorks' February release "Win a Date With Tad Hamilton."
