It's sunrise for feevee Sky Italia

Basic paybox package to include 50 channels

MILAN -- Rupert Murdoch's new feevee Sky Italia, born from May's merger of Telepiu and Stream, unveiled its bouquet Wednesday.

The territory's only paybox will air more than 100 channels, with subscriptions ranging from e22 ($26) to $64 per month.

The basic package, Primo Sky, will include 50 channels with films, sports, docus, kids' shows, pay-per-view and more. Cinema Sky will offer nine films channels plus RAI Sat Cinema World, with the best of Euro productions, and the Disney Channel. Sports Sky will offer two premium sports channels and Eurosports. Calcio Sky focuses on soccer, with live matches from the major Italian clubs.

The launch date is still to be announced, although service is expected to bow in early September, when the new soccer season starts.
