Endemol sells 'Deal'

Production outfit Endemol has sold its latest format "Deal or No Deal" to Turkey and the Middle East.

In the fall, Middle East broadcaster MBC will air the 26-episode series across the region and ATV in Turkey will broadcast a 13-seg version.

In the finale of the gameshow, the remaining contestant opens one of 26 briefcases that could contain as much as e5 million ($5.8 million). "Deal or No Deal," when it aired on Holland's Nederland 2, pulled down aud shares of 30%. The show also has been sold to Australia.
