Hostage pic set up

World Brief

Prague-based services company Stillking Films is prepping its first film production.

"Russian Theater" is based on the October 2002 hostage takeover of a Moscow theater by Chechen rebels.

Story is being penned by News-week journalist-turned-scripter Michael Lerner. Czech commercial director Ivan Zacharias, attached to Stillking's commercials department, will make his feature helming debut. Principal photography should begin in Prague in late 2003.

Stillking founder Matthew Stillman will produce.
