Pressplay cues up J

Keys, Busta, Stewart among acts added to site's service

Pressplay has inked a deal with BMG unit J Records to add the imprint's digitized catalog to its online music subscription service.

Deal -- the first such license granted from J to any of the subscription music operators, gives Pressplay subs access to work from acts like Alicia Keys, Busta Rhymes, Tyrese and Rod Stewart.

Netco already has deals with the five majors; with J deal, Pressplay's library totals more than 300,000 digital tracks.
