Mojito nabs mojo

TV producer Jan Mojto is to receive the Charlemagne media award, bestowed for achievement in Pan-European arts and media, on May 22.

Former Kirch Group manager Mo-jto, who now has his own shingle, EOS Entertainment, was chosen "for per-sonifying the spirit of European high quality film and TV co-production."

The award is bestowed by the European Institute for the Media and the media authority of the German state North Rhine-Westphalia.

Mojto's four-part TV series "Napo-leon," at $43 million Europe's most expensive TV production so far, garnered ratings of 25% in Germany this year.
