Swank circles back to CAA

Thesp's upcoming pics include '11:14,' 'Angels'

Academy Award winner Hilary Swank has re-signed with Creative Artists Agency after a three-year absence.

Thesp had signed with CAA on the strength of her performance in "Boys Don't Cry" in 1999, after her longtime agent at Metropolitan Talent Agency ankled. Her rep ultimately landed at the Gersh Agency, but Swank opted instead for CAA. But her stint there lasted only until January 2000. Just before she won the Oscar for her perf in "Boys" Swank, in a surprise move, headed to the William Morris Agency, where she's been represented ever since.

Her recent credits include Par's actioner "The Core," a supporting role in last year's Warner Bros. thriller "Insomnia," and toplining position in 2001's "The Affair of the Necklace" for helmer Charles Shyer, also at Warners.

Swank next appears as part of an ensemble cast in the indie "11:14," a Firm Films-produced pic that will be distribbed by MDP Worldwide, and in HBO pic "Iron Jawed Angels."

She also has several pics in development through her production company, Accomplice Films, including "Family Trust," which is set up at Universal. Swank also is partnering with Dan Halstead and Gary Gilbert on "The Waking" being written by Michael Nichols, and author Ethan Canin is adapting one of his short stories for Accomplice.
