NAB to fete Moore

Short Take

The National Assn. of Broadcasters plans to hang a halo over Mary Tyler Moore at the Education Foundation's Service to America Summit in Washington, D.C., June 9.

The NAB will give the actress-comedian the "Samaritan Award" for her service to the community, most notably her work as the international chairwoman of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
