HOLLYWOOD -- Monday night's behind-the-scenes gab session with the cast and crew of "Gilmore Girls" revealed at least one thing about the fast-paced WB skein: Creator Amy Sherman-Palladino is the Valley-bred version of Lauren Graham's Lorelai.

Palladino let loose with a few curse words at the television acad event, proving herself a feistier, sassier clone of her creative offspring. For her part, Graham described her biggest hurdle as channeling Palladino's wise-ass ways.

Palladino dodged the obvious will-they-or-won't-they Luke and Lorelai questions in a spoiler-free evening. "If I find a really great way to do a murder-suicide, I will," she said.

Other panelists included cast members Alexis Bledel, Ed Herrmann, Scott Patterson and Melissa McCarthy; exec producer Daniel Palladino and moderator Rick Kushman. Cheering in the audience were Stars Hollow regulars Milo Ventimiglia and Keiko Agena.
