Rupert Murdoch-backed satcaster Star TV now owns music web Channel V outright. Star TV announced Monday that it had bought the remaining 12.5% stake from EMI. Channel V was originally a joint venture among Star, EMI, BMG, Sony Pictures and Warner Music Group.
