Site helps figure out How Stuff Works

Major to minute technological details can be found

entertainment.howstuffworks.com

If you're like me, you don't like to admit when you don't know something. Thanks to the Internet, you don't have to. Next time someone asks you a question about how, say, satellite TV or a Steadicam works, stall them, get to a computer, and check out How Stuff Works.

In addition to explaining the inner details (springs and electronic parts), the site also does a good job of explaining the history and development of all sorts of technologies, and it also covers wider topics like the Oscars, video editing and how speakers work.

Sadly, though they have a section called "How Movie Distribution Works," entertainment.howstuffworks.com/movie-distribution.htm, there's no section for "How Making a Box Office Hit Works."
