Pilots flesh out casts

'Grown,' 'Arcadia' Hart project shoring up shows

Final names are being cast in this season's pilots, as projects such as ABC's untitled Kevin Hart comedy and CBS' "Joan of Arcadia" round out their rosters.

The Kevin Hart laffer, from 20th Century Fox TV and Imagine TV, has added thesps Arnetia Walker ("Nurses") and Keith David ("Agent Cody Banks").

Walker, who's repped by Buchwald, currently appears in the Broadway musical "Dreamgirls." Other credits for David, who's repped by Abrams, include "Barbershop."

Meanwhile, Michael Welch will star in the CBS drama pilot "Joan of Arcadia" as Luke.

The project, from CBS Prods. and Sony Pictures Television, also stars Joe Mantegna. Welch, who's repped by Endeavor and Curtis Talent, recently starred in the indie pic "United States of Leland."

Also at the Eye, stage actress Laura Bell Bundy ("Hairspray") has been added to the cast of the comedy pilot "All Grown Up."

Project, from Warner Bros. TV, revolves around lifelong friends whose lives must adjust when some of them become parents. Bundy, who's repped by Buchwald, also appeared in "Jumanji" and the sudser "Guiding Light."

And Mary Birdsong ("Welcome to New York") has been added to the cast of CBS' "Rubbing Charlie." She'll play Beth in the laffer, which comes from Big Ticket Television.
