Plans are in the mix for a government-backed paybox, Brazil Channel, aimed at foreign auds outside of Brazil rather than the expat population.
It will feature local pics, docs and other programming with subtitles. The government will pay for the cost of the channel, which aims to promote Brazilian products and tourist attractions.
