Pat Davis

Pat Davis, an anchorwoman for a Sacramento TV station, died March 20 in Tulsa, Okla., from complications related to breast cancer. She was 39.

Davis had been in Tulsa for cancer treatment.

She joined CBS affiliate KOVR in 1991 as a reporter before being promoted to noon news anchor several years ago.

Prior to becoming an anchorwoman, Davis worked as a reporter for the station's San Joaquin Valley news bureau.

She won the Sigma Delta Chi award for spot news in 1990, and other awards for investigative and human interest stories.

Survivors include her husband, news photographer Tony Toste, and her two children.
