J.C. Macgregor Scott
Macgregor Scott began his 28-year industry stint in 1942 in the sales division of Columbia Pictures U.K.
A year later, he joined the Associated British Picture Corp.-Pathe, holding the title of managing director when the company merged with Warner Bros. in 1963.
He then became president of Commonwealth United Intl., overseeing the company's production and distribution concerns until his retirement in 1970.
Macgregor Scott is survived by two sons, Peter, a film producer at Warner Bros., and Ian, a sound effects editor at Universal.
