NAMIC Vision Awards, recognizing diversity in the cable industry. The Disney Channel's animated skein "The Proud Family" earned four noms, the most for a single program.
Special honors are set for top-level female execs Debra Lee (BET), Christina Norman (VH1), Laureen Ong (Nat'l Geo) and Pamela Thomas-Graham (CNBC). Lifetime will receive the North Star Award for its longtime commitment to diversity in programming. Kudos are skedded for March 28 at the BevHilton.
