NAMIC Vision Awards announces noms

HBO leads the pack with 11 nods from the ninth annual NAMIC Vision Awards, recognizing diversity in the cable industry. The Disney Channel's animated skein "The Proud Family" earned four noms, the most for a single program.

Special honors are set for top-level female execs Debra Lee (BET), Christina Norman (VH1), Laureen Ong (Nat'l Geo) and Pamela Thomas-Graham (CNBC). Lifetime will receive the North Star Award for its longtime commitment to diversity in programming. Kudos are skedded for March 28 at the BevHilton.
